This is, without question, the most frequently asked question we receive. While Sonia deeply understands the grief and longing that follow the loss of a loved one, it’s important to recognize how Instrumental TransCommunication (ITC) differs from a traditional mediumship reading.
In a mental or evidential mediumship session, no preparation is needed—neither by the sitter nor the medium. The connection unfolds in real time, and once the session ends, the medium often moves on to the next sitter.
ITC is very different. It is a technical, time-intensive process that often involves recording using specialized materials such as reflective cloths, vapor, or colored lights—each chosen for its capability to carry frequencies that may allow spirit collaborators to insert their images. These transimages rarely appear in real time. Instead, they are revealed during playback—similar to how electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are heard during listening after the recording.
Each second of video yields 30 frames. Just one minute of filming produces 1,800 images to review—frame by frame—for signs of transfiguration. A 3-minute session can generate over 5,000 frames. Once potential images are identified, volunteers assist with documentation, family review, and final compilation into reports. Remarkably, Sonia has never charged an individual sitter for a session in all her decades of pioneering this work.
To support this labor-intensive process, Sonia selects individuals for recordings exclusively from her Patreon community—where memberships begin at just $5 per month. Typically, 3–6 supporters are chosen monthly for recordings. Patreon support helps cover essential expenses such as technical consultants, recording materials, software, equipment, internet costs, and stipends for dedicated volunteers.
In appreciation, members receive exclusive updates, reports, and behind-the-scenes content each week, along with the opportunity to be selected for a personal recording and reduced rates on select online events.
Please note: We are unable to respond to unsolicited requests for recordings outside the Patreon platform.
These materials are freely offered for those who seek understanding and comfort. If you feel called to support this work and help us continue, please consider joining our Patreon family.
